Active Directory Change Tracker
Active Directory Change Tracker records a history of changes in the Active Directory configuration. Changes data can also be reported from the Security Event Log. These changes can be tracked with or without the use of native AD auditing capabilities of Windows. Tracking and maintaining records of the necessary changes helps comply with regulations stipulated under regulatory bodies like SOX and HIPAA. AD and Systems administrators can make use of these reports to gather updates on the changes and undo them if necessary. These reports help maintain the security of the Windows network infrastructure.
The Change Tracker can be configured to provide real time alerts about specific events by selecting the appropriate Event IDs. Only incremental change data is gathered and presented as customized reports through the AD Change Tracker.
